Meet Meredith, our new Director of Human Resources & Operations
"I believe that AnthroMed Education is playing a key role in Special Education and I’m honored to be a part of the team. By finding the right educators, we’re building strong schools, and creating communities where individuals with disabilities can thrive."
Meredith is a former special education teacher who taught racially and economically diverse 9th and 10th-grade students for many years before going back to school at the University of Illinois where she completed her master’s degree in human resources. From there, she joined a non-profit employment group that is dedicated to creating economic opportunities for the unemployed and underemployed. For the last 7+ years she was pivotal in building their Human Resources department, developed and improved all aspects of the employee experience, overseeing all professional development, and was co-chair of their diversity, equity, and inclusion committee. At AnthroMed, Meredith will be supporting our entire organization and creating best Human Resource practices, implementing new policies and procedures, and continuing to help us create a supportive and enriching culture in which our team members can thrive. Meredith is passionate about the field of special education and related services, is dynamic, intelligent, and will be a tremendous addition to our team. Meredith is a Chicago Cubs fan, but an even bigger fan of her wonderful dog, Olive. She lives in Chicago like many of our team members, but is excited to begin supporting all AnthroMed Education team members in the various communities we serve.
