    About the role:
    We have multiple positions available with different age groups and student populations. Your responsibilities will include:
    • Assess students' speech-language abilities and develop treatment plans.
    • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs.
    • Develop goals and conduct assessments in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.

    We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a partner school for middle school and high school students. We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our speech therapy team on a full-time basis for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will primarily work with secondary-level students, including those in life skills programs, while also providing support at the elementary level. This full-time position will have a caseload of approximately 40-45 students and will involve a variety of school-based responsibilities, including IEP meetings, writing IEPs, MA billing, and progress reports. This opportunity arises due to the recent retirement of one of our full-time SLPs.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide speech and language therapy services to students, with a focus on secondary-level students, including those in life skills programs, as well as some elementary-level students.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and parents to develop and implement appropriate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
    • Write and manage IEPs, document therapy sessions, and complete progress reports as required.
    • Ensure compliance with MA billing and other administrative duties.
    • Push into classrooms to provide direct and indirect support to students.

    Position Overview:

    Responsibilities:

    • Direct and consult minutes to students with diverse communication needs (articulation, language, fluency, and more).
    • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to drive student success.
    • Provide direct therapy, both one-on-one and in groups.
    • Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed.

    Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

    In this Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role, you will provide educationally-based speech pathology services at an elementary school. Your speech therapy services will address a variety of communication disorders for children from kindergarten to 8th grade. Interventions will address common articulation and language disorders as well as more significant communicative needs of students with low-incidence disorders.     Position Overview:
    As an SLP in this school, you’ll work with students from K-8th grade focusing on MTSS, providing vital speech and language services that directly support students’ learning and communication development. The specific caseload will be determined based on student needs, but this role will primarily focus on supporting students within the MTSS framework. You will work closely with other SLPs and the school team to ensure that each student receives targeted, evidence-based intervention.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in grades K-8th, with an emphasis on MTSS.
    • Support students with a range of communication needs, including articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication.
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and other support professionals to design and implement appropriate interventions for students.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized plans.
    • Conduct speech and language assessments and progress monitoring for assigned caseloads.
    • Embrace a collaborative approach with the two other SLPs from AnthroMed and work with our other 9 team members at this district to deliver coordinated and comprehensive services.
    • Provide consultations and training for staff and parents to support students’ speech and language needs in the classroom and at home.
    • Stay up to date on best practices and research in speech-language pathology, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
    Qualifications:
    • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • PEL Licensure
    • CFs (Clinical Fellows) are welcome to apply!
    • Experience in schools or working with K-8 students is a plus, but not required.
    • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
    • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of MTSS and IEP processes is highly preferred.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records within the Frontline IEP system, including progress notes, IEP documentation, and therapy minutes.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support plan for students.
    • Stepping into an existing therapy schedule with minimal adjustments.
    • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
    • Provide updates and work on any upcoming IEPs, with a current working document in place for all IEPs.
    • Work within a collaborative school team to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.

    Qualifications:
    • NJ DOE Speech Language Specialist Certification (3462) is required.
    • Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply!
    • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, with experience working with students with a variety of diagnoses.
    • Experience with Frontline IEP system is preferred but not required.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Must be available to work on-site during the specified hours.

    Working Environment:
    • The SLP will be provided with a shared office space located in the school library.
    • The school has already completed 3rd quarter progress notes, and the schedule is prepared for the incoming professional.
    • No compensatory services are required for the caseload.

    Compensation and Benefits:
    • Salary Range: $60,000 - $72,000 annually, based on experience.

    Responsibilities:
    • Evaluate students' speech and language abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students in line with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
    • Conduct assessments and analyze results to identify strengths and areas for improvement in speech, language, voice, fluency, pragmatics, and oral motor skills.
    • Collaborate with instructional staff and families to create strength-based, student-centered therapy plans.
    • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and other school-related meetings.
    • Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines in all aspects of service delivery.
    • Offer consultative services to teachers, helping them identify students with potential speech or language issues.

    Requirements:
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
    • Current state licensure as an SLP.

    • Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology.
