Responsibilities:- Evaluate students’ speech-language abilities and develop treatment plans
- Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs
- Conduct assessments, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports
- Address needs in speech, language, fluency, voice, pragmatics, and oral motor skills
- Use evidence-based research and professional literature to guide clinical decisions
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and problem-solving discussions
- Collaborate with instructional staff using strength-based, child- and family-centered practices
- Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Support teachers in identifying and referring students with speech and language concerns
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures, including IDEA and IEP development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
