Contract Dates: August 25, 2025 – November 17, 2025About the Opportunity:AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide FMLA coverage within Appoquinimink School District, Delaware’s fastest-growing school system. This SLP will serve a preschool caseload focused on students with autism, primarily based at the Appoquinimink Preschool Center, with the possibility of supporting additional community-based sites. This short-term opportunity is ideal for clinicians who thrive in early childhood settings and value collaborative, well-managed caseloads.What You’ll Do:- Deliver speech-language therapy to preschool-aged students, with a focus on autism spectrum disorders
- Provide support in classroom-based and pull-out service models
- Collaborate with early childhood educators, paraprofessionals, and related service staff
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP meetings
- Document progress in compliance with district and state requirements
Caseload Details:- Students in the Appoquinimink Preschool Center, potentially with some travel to community-based settings
- Caseload is expected to be manageable and guided by a workload-based approach
- Office space and daily schedule TBD by site
Qualifications:- Active Delaware SLP License
- Experience with early intervention and/or autism preferred
- Strong collaboration and documentation skills

This role is entirely on-site and offers a manageable caseload of students in the general education setting—no special program caseloads involved.Position Details- Duration: Full school year (August 18, 2025 – June 16, 2026)

- Schedule: 35 hours per week

- Students in grades K–8
- Caseload of approximately 50–60 students
- All students receive services within the general education setting
- Most students are working on developmental goals (articulation, fluency, language, etc.)
- No case management responsibilities

This full-time role will support high school students in grades 9–12, with a primary focus on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual or cognitive disabilities. Appoquinimink is one of the fastest-growing districts in Delaware, known for its supportive staff, manageable caseloads, and strong infrastructure for related service professionals.Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct and consultative OT services to high school students with diverse needs
- Support functional life skills, sensory regulation, fine motor development, and adaptive behavior
- Deliver services using various models (pull-out, push-in, classroom-based) depending on student needs
