    We are currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join one of our exceptional charter school districts in North Chicago, IL for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. In this role, you will provide on-site support to K-8th grade students between two schools, working with a caseload of 35-40 students with mild to moderate disabilities. There are no Self-Contained classrooms at this school. The schools in this district are consistently rated commendable/exemplary by ISBE. This district also utilizes Tools of the Mind, Calm Classroom, and Responsive Classroom. They also host a special group called Reading Power for K-2nd grade centered around literacy.

    Your Role & Responsibilities:
    • Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-8.
    • Manage a caseload of 35-40 students, ensuring individualized and effective interventions.
    • Complete necessary documentation, including IEP reports, goal setting, and diagnostic evaluations.
    • Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to develop student modifications, accommodations, and intervention plans.
    • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure progress and support student development.
    • Conduct speech and language case study evaluations.
    • Serve as a valuable resource to school staff in fostering a comprehensive program for speech and language development.
    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
    • Perform other duties as needed to support student success.

We are currently interviewing SLPs who are interested in joining our team and working in one of our partner schools in West Chicago, IL with 6th – 8th graders.

    Responsibilities:
    • SLP will provide speech and language therapy services to middle school students full-time, Monday-Friday, from 7:30 am-2:45 pm.
    • Mixed caseload of 20-25 students.
    • There will be a total of 3 SLPs within the building to support the middle school.
    • SLP will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to address communication and language disorders.
    • SLP will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in both classroom and individual settings.
    • SLP will maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
    • SLP will have their own office space.
    • SLP will utilize Embrace for IEPs.
    • SLP will participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and ongoing training opportunities.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
    • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
    • Active Professional Education License (PEL) with SLP endorsement

    Compensation:
    Full salary paid weekly ranging from $58,000–$70,000, based on experience.
