This role will help manage caseload overflow within the district’s early learning and primary classrooms.     Responsibilities
    • Provide full-time speech and language therapy services to primary-grade students (Pre-K–2nd Grade), Monday–Friday, 7:25 AM–3:00 PM.
    • Deliver therapy within a Dual Language school that includes a variety of early childhood and primary classrooms: life learning (functional programs), structured learning (students on the spectrum), self-contained, and general education.
    • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to address early communication and language development needs.
    • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support young students’ communication skills in both classroom and individual settings.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
    • Utilize Embrace for IEP management and compliance.
    • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.

    Pay & Benefits
    • Salary Range: $54,000–$67,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
    • Paid Time Off: 6 days per year, prorated based on your start date.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Direct Therapy Services:
      • Provide speech-language pathology services to K-5 students in an elementary school setting.

      • Deliver therapy using evidence-based practices tailored for diverse, bilingual student populations.
    • Collaboration:
      • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom.
      • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences as required.
      • Collaborate with colleagues and follow district protocols to ensure a consistent and effective approach to student services.
    • Documentation & Reporting:

    Qualifications
    • Master’s in Speech Language Pathology.

    • Previous experience with Elementary students is preferred but not required.

    Qualifications
    • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or in the process of completing).
    • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois (IDFPR and PEL).
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.
    • New graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are highly encouraged to apply! We provide dedicated supervision and support to help you successfully complete your CF experience.
