The district offers exceptional support, including a wonderful teacher consultant, a general education behavioral specialist, and collaborative school teams. The SLP will serve at least one self-contained classroom and provide services to students in resource and some general education settings.Responsibilities:- Provide speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) using schools IEP system and technology (Power school)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote communication and academic success
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation of student progress
- Other duties as assigned
Caseload & Environment:- Caseload of approximately 53 students
- Can be 53 at one school or split 36 and 20 across two schools.
- Monday - Friday (full-time employee)
Qualifications:- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children.
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures, including IDEA and IEP development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.

- Previous school social work experience is preferred.
