Position Type: Full-Time (Summer Coverage)We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide repair and makeup therapy sessions over the summer for 84 students who need additional support. This will be a temporary, full-time position, almost like a clinic setting within the school, separate from the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The sessions are expected to be conducted in person; however, there is potential for some sessions to be virtual.This role offers the opportunity to support a caseload comparable to a full-time schedule, and hours may extend beyond June for those requiring makeup therapy sessions.Key Responsibilities- Provide makeup and repair therapy sessions for 84 students over the summer
- Manage a caseload that closely mirrors a full-time schedule
- Sessions will primarily be in person but virtual sessions may be offered for flexibility
- Work with students in a clinic-like setting within the school building, separate from the ESY program
- Assess students' needs and track progress to ensure goals are being met
- Collaborate with staff and families to coordinate services and ensure continuity of care
Qualifications- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State SLP License & ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school settings preferred, but not required
- Ability to provide services both in person and virtually (depending on district needs)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
