Receive Additional Speech-Language Pathology and School Social Work Support

In conjunction with Oakland Schools, AnthroMed Education will be sourcing and placing new Speech-Language Pathologists and School Social Workers to ensure a new approach to delivering in-person services throughout Oakland County. Our joint mission is to assist you with supplemental critical special services with a focus on Speech-Language Pathology and School Social Work. Whether you are facing limited qualified staff or a sudden increase in service demands for your students, we are committed to helping you address these demands in the 2024-2025 school year. Oakland Schools and AnthroMed Education share the same vision, to deploy new Clinicians to assist your students and make every effort possible to ensure adequate services are delivered for your students.

How can Oakland Schools and AnthroMed help your district?

AnthroMed Education, in partnership with Oakland Schools, will begin to employ new Michigan LARA and MDE-licensed SLPs and Social Workers who are passionate about supporting students’ success and make them available to your district in real-time.

AnthroMed Education will be coordinating with the Oakland Schools Special Populations team to source, interview, and place Social Workers and SLPs to ensure new approach to delivering in-person services throughout Oakland County.

The process is designed to understand your student caseloads and school requirements so Oakland Schools can provide you with SLPs and Social Workers who align well with your student needs. The entire program is done in coordination with and selected by Oakland Schools and is aimed at improving the educational achievement and well-being of all students with disabilities

All Oakland County Schools are eligible to participate and benefit from these new programs. Districts are encouraged to submit their Speech and Social Work requirements to this portal throughout the school year.
